SEABOUND - WHITE NIGHTS ? |

Over the past months we have been asked repeatedly about mp3-files of bad sound quality that are distributed over the internet and tagged Seabound with the album title „White Nights“. People speculate that these files are demo versions from the new album „Beyond Flatline“ causing increasing irritation.
To end the confusion, we would like to make the following statement:
These files are NO demo versions of tracks from "Beyond Flatline".
There is NO Seabound album entitled "White Nights".
Don't ask us why files under this name are circulated through the web. Please keep in mind that anybody can distribute mp3-files under any name on the internet. It is possible that the people who started circulating these files believed them to be demo recordings from the new album. A few months ago, our label announced that we were considering to use „White Nights“ as a title for the new album; this idea, however, was dismissed shortly afterwards.
We have not listened to those mp3-files on the internet, but we’ve been able to identify some song titles that match early Seabound demo recordings from 1996. These mp3s are distributed illegally over the internet. Please understand that we cannot and don’t want to provide further information on these tracks.

Wir sind in der letzten Zeit häufig auf im Internet erschienene MP3-Files von schlechter
Aufnahmequalität angesprochen worden, die unter dem
Bandnamen Seabound und dem Albumtitel "White Nights" verbreitet wurden und
als vermeintliche Demoversionen des neuen Albums "Beyond Flatline" für
Verwirrung sorgten.
Dazu möchten wir abschließend Folgendes sagen:
Es handelt sich NICHT um Demoaufnahmen des Albums "Beyond Flatline".
Es existiert KEIN Seabound-Album mit dem Titel "White Nights".
Fragt uns nicht, warum Files mit diesem Namen trotzdem im Internet kursieren.
Jeder kann MP3-Files unter beliebigen Namen im Internet verbreiten. Wahrscheinlich hielten diejenigen, die die MP3s in Umlauf brachten, diese für Demo-Aufnahmen des neuen Seabound-Albums. Unser Label verbreitete vor ein paar Monaten, dass wir mit dem Gedanken spielten, das neue Album "White
Nights" zu nennen, was wir allerdings schnell verwarfen.
Wir haben die im Internet verbreiteten MP3-Files zwar nicht angehört, konnten
jedoch einige Songtitel finden, die zu den ersten Probeaufnahmen von Seabound
aus dem Jahr 1996 gehörten. Diese MP3s werden gegen unseren Willen illegal im
Internet verbreitet. Bitte versteht, dass wir deshalb auch keine Auskünfte zu
diesen Tracks geben können und wollen.
